It's funny, most people express gratitude sparingly in their life and consequently only sparingly experience amazing health, wealth and happiness! However chances are if you are reading this article you are not 'most people' and certainly are not after mediocre results! This article will show you how to use principles of gratitude in your life to achieve abundance in all areas. Most importantly though, applying this principle to your life will not only yield amazing results, but the process is hugely rewarding!
Dr. John Demartini, featured in The Secret, wrote an entire book on using gratitude in your life and for good reason! It is a cornerstone for being happy now whilst also achieving your life vision for the future. This is because using gratitude in your life has two major benefits. Firstly, it allows you to be happy where you are right now! You cannot change where you currently are in your life so why not be happy about it? You have so much more to be thankful for than you could ever imagine. Say thanks for your car. Don't have a car? No problem, just give thanks that you have eyes to read this!
Secondly, gratitude for what you have already will put you in a positive state from which, by the Law of Attraction, you will attract more good things into your life experience. However, as I will explain below, by giving thanks in advance for your desires, the Law of Attraction will swiftly bring them into your existence. Now it is easy to see why gratitude is a regular practice of the world's most successful people, the benefits are astronomical!
So how do you apply this process? Easy. A gratitude journal. Now there are some great products on the market specifically designed for this by Jack Canfield and also another great one by Rhonda Byrne. However you can start right now by pulling out a notebook or even a scrap of paper. A ready made product is always better, in my opinion, as you will be using it every day. But anything for now will do just fine.
Now take your new found 'prosperity tool' and write down things that you are currently grateful for. Count your blessings! Use phrases like, "I am so grateful for my family," or "Thank you for my health." Once you get started you will begin feeling all the positive feelings you correlate with the people/ objects on your 'gratitude list'. This alone is of huge benefit!
Here's the second part. Now write down all the things you desire. But give thanks for them in advance. For example, write "Thank you for my new Audi sports car." I actually wrote this 'gratitude intention' down and was marveled when it materialized within a few days! This was during a time when I didn't think I could afford any car, let alone the car of my dreams! Needless to say, using my gratitude journal has become a favorite daily ritual of mine.
So there you have it. I suggest using the journal every morning before embarking on your day. This will fill you with positive energy which you will carry with you throughout the rest of your day. This process takes just a few minutes and I guarantee that it will transform your life in all areas. You'll be happy right now where you are and you won't believe how this simple tool catapults you toward your dreams!
