8 Surprisingly Quick And Easy Ways To Feel Happier!

All of us have days when we're out of sorts. You just wish you were in a better mood.  You've had days like that, haven't you? Perhaps you tried to get yourself into a better state of mind but struggled to achieve it.

Sometimes we get stuck in our own emotional dumps and forget how easy it is to feel happier, so here are eight simple ways to lift your mood. Many people have found them useful. Some of them may surprise you!

1. Go For A Walk

Most people know that going for a short daily walk is one of the best forms of exercise. When you are feeling down it is even more beneficial. If you can, go into a natural environment with plants and birds. Can you think of such a setting or not? What do you notice first? The different shades of greenery, the fresh smell of country air, the sounds of birds, or the sunlight shining through the trees? Make it real by taking a short stroll and really being in the present.

2. Listen To Quality Music

Music can shift a listener's state within moments. Its effect can be nearly magical. Dig out that CD you haven't listened to in ages or tune in your radio to something you've never listened to before.

3. Open Yourself To Discovering Something New

Read something different than what you would normally. There are a ton of different types of magazines can you get these days. Visit your local library or browse through a magazine rack.  Pick up or buy a magazine you wouldn't normally buy. You may discover something wonderful.

4. Find Something To Laugh At

Laughter is one of the best ways to lift your spirits. Find a humorous book, or watch a comedy.  Even better, try to learn a few new jokes and tell them to others.

5. Simple Breathing Meditation

Breathing meditation is a great exercise that you can do anywhere.  Simply allow yourself to sit comfortably with your back straight. Now close your eyes and become aware of the flow of air into and out of your nostrils. That's all there is to it. Do this for 10-15 minutes. Notice how pleasantly surprised you can be at how you feel afterward.

6. Doodling For The Fun Of It.

Most people can remember when they were young and used to doodle for hours. Kids love drawing silly little pictures. Drawing is not just for kids or artists.  Whoever you are get some pens, pencils, crayons or whatever you have and just draw for the fun of it. Notice how your state of mind shifts.

7. Think Of Others Less Fortunate.

The fact that you are reading this article suggests that you are probably much better off than most people on this planet. At times this may be hard to believe, but if you can read and have access to the internet, just those two things alone means you are better off than most people in the world.  There are many human beings that barely have access to the basics of survival. There are people in lots of pain. Allow your compassion for them to grow.

8. Lift Your Vibrations!

And lastly, write down a list of at least 10 things that bring you loving joy. These could include dancing, singing, being with your family, reading, travelling etc. Lift your vibrations up by focusing your attention on these and if you are ready go and do one of these things!

These are all pretty simple. There's nothing profound or life changing, but when all you need is a quick pick me up these may be just the thing you need. Putting simple ideas, methods, tools and techniques into action will help you achieve change more quickly and easily --surprisingly so at time-- than you imagine.

The Tapping Solution DVD Review

I had been waiting for this DVD to arrive because I had attended and listened to every presentation at the Tapping World Summit 2012 and was blown away by what was being taught to so many people free of charge.  Nick and Jessica Ortner have done an amazing job in this movie and it is definitely a must have in every household.

If you have never heard of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) then I will give you a quick heads up on what it is all about below:

·    E.F.T., otherwise known as Tapping or Meridian Tapping, is a combination of Ancient Chinese Acupressure and Modern Psychology. It was developed originally by Roger Callahan in the 1980's and modified and expanded upon by Gary Craig. Since then, thousands of psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, coaches and individual users have adopted this powerful technique for use on themselves, their clients, family members and more.  This simple technique, which literally involves "tapping" on the meridian points of our body while saying certain statements, is providing uniquely powerful results.

So there it is, such a simple technique but so powerful.

So you may be wondering what this DVD could teach you?? Well ….
  • In this movie, you'll meet 10 people from around the country with a variety of challenges, such as PTSD, chronic back pain, fear of public speaking, Fibromyalgia, abundance blocks, weight loss, smoking and more. You'll follow their journey as they learn E.F.T. (and you do as well) and then dive deeper into the keys to changing your life.
  • The movie teaches you about releasing pain, how our emotions affect our body, releasing trauma, how our childhood is affecting us today, how to clear limiting beliefs, using E.F.T. to make the Law of Attraction work for you, and much more!
Aren’t you getting fed up of all the baggage that you have been carrying around for years? Isn’t it time to let that all go for good?  Isn’t it time to live a better, happier, healthier life?

Personally for me, whilst watching this DVD it brought up emotions in me that had long been hidden away and I could feel myself wanting to get lighter from the heavy load of childhood memories that had been holding me down without me actually being consciously aware of them.  Since watching this DVD I have been tapping on a daily basis and can really notice and feel a difference in my character as I bring more joy into my world.

The people in the DVD, some of whom are my mentors and I really look up to because of how far they have come in their lives include: Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Cheryl Richardson, Dr Joseph Mercola, Dr Bruce Lipton, Dr Patricia Carrington, Carol Look, Joe Vitale, Carol Tuttle, Dr Norm Shealy, Dawson Church, Rick Wilkes, Brad Yates and others.  To hear what they have to say about EFT and how it helped them in their lives was really eye opening.

This DVD is one that should be shared with everyone.  You can enjoy it with your own family, your friends, and colleagues and see how they can all make a difference in their own lives.  I have been showing my young children how to tap on their tiny little problems and I can already see how powerful this would be for them as they grow up and can tap away all of the stresses and strains of the day straight away instead of being worried about how their life is evolving.

I highly recommend this movie to all and will be sharing it with as many people as I can as I know it can help so many people.

To purchase this movie for yourself, please click on the DVD below.  You will not only be making a huge difference in your own life as each copy of the DVD that is purchased will also help spread change across the world by distributing this information to as many people as possible to help them reach the levels of emotional and physical freedom that we ALL deserve. Each purchase helps The Tapping Solution to donate copies to a school, jail, halfway house, or other need social agency. So far they have donated over 7,000 copies of the movie!

By clicking below you can also see hundreds of wonderful testimonials from people around the world and as one of the testimonials say (and I totally agree!) "A wonderfully touching film that has made it straight onto my favourites list".  Let it be on yours too!

You Make Me Feel

Do other people make you feel things?

Do they make you feel happy or sad?

I’m curious. How do they make you feel this way?

Do they say, “Hey, here’s a tin of sadness.”

Or maybe they say, “Ahh, you need a bucket of happiness. Hold on, I’ve got one here you can have.”

Can you find happiness or sadness on the supermarket shelves, pre-packaged and ready to go?

Shopaholics amongst you would argue that you could; however I would say you can’t.

We often rely on other people to “make” us feel a certain way. We rely on them to do something, say something, and be something in order for us to feel happy. If they don’t do what we are expecting them to, we get upset, sad and hurt.

In short, we often attempt to control other people in order to control how we feel; that is, our emotions.

And when we do this, we are setting ourselves up for failure, because we can’t control anyone else. We cannot force anyone to do anything or assume they will.

There is just one person we control; ourselves.

People don’t make us feel certain emotions. We choose to feel them. We decide to react in a certain way. We make assumptions about what people mean. We leap to conclusions.

No one can give you a tin of unhappiness, or a bucket of joy. These things are not physical items that can be passed from person to person. They are intangible items that exist only in ourselves.

Believe it or not, each of you are in control of yourself and how you feel. You can choose to feel anyway you want. Right now, you could choose to feel happy; or I am sure you could choose to feel sad. Just by thinking about it, you could change how you feel.

It’s almost magic isn’t it?

So what about choosing how you feel when you are interacting with other people?

The vast majority of people run on auto-pilot. They allow their body and mind to more or less get on with it, not worrying too much about the programs that are running or the condition of it. It doesn’t interfere with them too much so they allow it to get on with it.

It’s like watching all the cars driving around a city and not realising there is someone inside controlling them.

Most people have forgotten there is this “person” inside of them controlling them.
If you choose, you can take back control of how you feel and stop relying on other people to meet certain conditions.

When you go to the office and someone says, “Good Morning” to you, you can choose to grumble and mutter, “There’s nothing good about it.” Or, you can choose to reply in kind and say, “It’s a fantastic morning.”

That is, you can choose to feel bad or choose to feel good.

Which do you prefer?

Realize that you are the only person who can make you feel anything and stop allowing the people around you to make you feel bad. Decide to feel good and enjoy yourself.

If someone turns you down or rejects you, you could tell yourself “It’s their loss” or something similar.

If someone says something that insults you, you could tell yourself “Poor thing, must be confused” or something similar.

Decide to take back control of yourself and your life and to stop being on auto-pilot. Choose how you are going to feel instead of allowing other people to choose for you :)

We all need to build self-esteem by placing a balance of worth on self. Those suffering with low self-esteem often find it difficult to get through the many changes taking place in our world today.

It affects one’s attitude when the esteem is low. Some of the best ways to build self-esteem is to figure out what measure of esteem you already have. You might ask self, how do I view myself? How does my way of living affect my life? What accomplishments have I achieved? How do others view me? Do I have a purpose in life? Where is my place in today’s world? Do I have goals and plans? What are my weaknesses and strengths? Am I working on these weaknesses and strength to build a stronger character? Am I an effective communicator? Do I rely on others? Meditation To Find Your Inner Self

Meditation can be performed any place in your home. To start meditating you want to consider a few positions. In one position, you will sit cross-legged with your eyes closed. The next step is encouraging your mind to focus on the inner self whilst you observe yourself. To begin with, your mind will feel sidetracked but progressively with practice, you will adept to conquer the disturbances. Meditation will strengthen your willpower or strength of mind while enhancing your concentration as a result.

You will start to become more optimistic. By mediating daily, it will make your life more satisfying, lively and you will feel a true sense of happiness. Training is the best technique of meditation, i.e. training the mind and body to allow room for meditation is the best policy when starting mediation.

Amplified concentration from meditation will assist you, since you will be capable of giving your undivided attention to your work. It in that way enhances your competence and productivity. The results of mediation will make it easier for you to handle your tasks while retaining your natural energy. In fact, meditation enhances your memory and concentration, since ultimately it means attentiveness through absorption.

Another technique to intensify your attentiveness is ‘the heart of rose’. The heart of rose is logically noted to assist with enhancing attentiveness, since like the rose we live thorny lives, which is full of different fragrances. This technique enables us to focus on positive aspects of our life, rather than the negative aspects. We can focus on the heart of the rose instead of the thorns.

How to focus on the heart of the rose:

First, focus on the centre part of the rose for around 20 minutes. Try to practice focusing on the rose in the same area each day. By performing this action, your mind will be able to focus on a single task instead of various tasks at once. You will feel less distracted and not waver when stress starts to develop. You can enhance time management skills and be able to handle more work, since you can now focus on a single task at one time. In short, it helps you to use the mind, left to right and back again. This is the key to enhancing awareness.

One of the largest problems we face today is that most people are too busy with satisfying material needs, rather than finding inner happiness and self-redemption. Essentially, we need to meditate daily, since it will prepare us to manage our day successfully with less stress and physical exhaustion.

We need to feed our mind and body healthy foodstuff, rather than unhealthy material. We do not always have the power to take control of certain events that occur in our life, but we do have the power to contract our reactions to these events that occur. We cannot expect anything from life that fills our desires and wishes by refusing to redeem self and take control.

If one has the power to control his body and mind he will live happier. By meditating regularly, you will gain strength of mind and character that helps you to take this control. Work effortlessly to find you, otherwise, the redemptive self will feel discouraged. You must stop procrastinating. Do today what you must do instead of putting it off till tomorrow.

You want to abandon any negative habits or behaviours to find the redemptive self, which takes practice and effort on your part. In addition to meditation, you can also seek additional support by learning more about subliminal learning.  More on this to follow.

Use The Power Of Your Thoughts

The greatest power we ever got is the Power Of Our Thoughts.

There is an Intelligence inside us that can elevate our life at the highest level.

Everyone should learn to collaborate with this Intelligence which is organized to react on our intentions and to create with us a life of abundance and happiness.

Freedom, happiness, richness, love, friendship, health and wealth are our birth right.

We have been created to live our life in freedom, health and wealth. If our life doesn’t look like that, it means we block ourselves by our thoughts. Our thoughts are very powerful instruments we use to either create happiness and wealth, or sickness and poverty.

If your life doesn’t look like what you’re dreaming of, it means you have thoughts which go against you. Your thoughts create your life. If you want to change your life, change first your thoughts.

You can choose your thoughts. Nobody in the world can put a thought in your head without your permission. Your mind belongs to you!  It’s your job to control your thoughts! You are the master of your head; you are the guardian of your thoughts. You can change them. Choose those thoughts that will bring you the results you want.

Never think a thing you don’t want to happen.

Read that again: never think a thought you don’t want to become true.

It means: don’t think anything negative about yourself if you don’t want this thought to become real. If you don’t want to be stupid, stop thinking you are. If you don’t want to be fat, stop rehearsing in your head how fat you are now. If you don’t want to lose your boyfriend or girlfriend, stop thinking about this possibility.

Instead of these destructive thoughts, choose thoughts which reinforce you. Choose to think how intelligent you are, and you will be! Choose to think how beautiful you are, and you will shine like a star! Choose to think you are loved, and you will!

Thoughts are energy. Every thought carries an energy level. Your choice! You either choose thoughts which lower your energy level, or you choose thoughts which increase your energy level.

It’s in your hands! Or better: it’s in your head! How you will feel and act depends on what you think. Every action and emotion is preceded by a thought. You can choose thoughts which block you, or even paralyze you.

It isn’t any more difficult to watch your thoughts to be able to choose them consciously. It’s just a matter of exercise and consciousness.

Once you've learned how to become the master of your thoughts, you become the master of your life!

If checking your thoughts seems too difficult for now, you can start watching your mouth. Never let come out of your mouth something you don’t want to happen! Never wish a bad luck to anyone if you don’t want this to realize. Watch your mouth, watch your words, watch your thoughts, and become the creator of your own life!

Your life does not depend on others. It depends on your own ability to master your thoughts.
